He also made it sound like he has given up various career opportunities to be my slave. I would like to clarify this as well. My slave is a workaholic. He does not feel happy unless he is busy. I can only imagine how it must have been for him to find out that he had such a debilitating condition as acute Fibromyaliga. This condition meant that it was unlikely that he would ever hold down a full time job again. I have seen how he can be. He is in constant pain and gets tired very easily. Often he is wobbly on his feet and has slow reactions. Some days he can barely get out of bed.
The thing is he has such amazing skills with organising things and dealing with people. People see this and see that he is always happy and cheerful so do not realise how ill he is. He gets offered jobs all the time but it is unlikely he could physically do a full time job and if he tried he would most likely make himself even more ill by trying too hard not to let people down and working when he should be resting.
I do not think that if he were well that he would be in full time service to me. He may disagree with this. I think that without the prospect of being in employment he felt useless and worthless and being a slave gives him purpose and meaning again. Not that he is into BDSM just because he is ill.
